Joy Jackson, born in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, has been a Gospel vocalist her entire life.

Rooted deeply in her faith, she also channels her passion for music into R&B and soul, creating songs that uplift, energize, and inspire. Joy is also a new generation of artist that is bringing back the neo-soul vibe with her new release “LIFTED”.  A style of music that emerged from soul and Contemporary R&B with elements ranging from funk, jazz fusion, hip hop and  rock. It has been noted by music writers for its conscious lyrics made famous by artists,  including D’Angelo, Maxwell, Erykah Badu, and Lauryn Hill. 

Her latest single “LIFTED” & dual and “Calm Before the Storm,” is uplifting, energizing, and full of positive vibes, with love at the core soothing it all. “When I read Blake’s lyrics, my goal was for the audience to feel the sound as Blake wrote it and fully immerse themselves in the music as I set the tone and relay the message. I wanted every listener to envision themselves in the intended setting. Just as Austin brings music to life as a musician, my goal as a vocalist is to create and elevate every sound in my head, transforming each lyric, rhythm, and note into an experience.”
